Craft Baby Shower Favors | Easy to Create

If you think that it takes a degree in rocket science to figure out how to craft baby shower favors, you've got another thing coming. There are many neat little favors that can be crafted simply and quickly. I will give you a few examples and you can let your imagination lead you to several variations of each project.

Here's some great advice on how to do this. First you need to call all the toddler moms you know and beg for empty baby food jars, you know the tall stage 3 jars that little ones have just before moving on to solid foods. Once you have enough of these to have one for each guest or at the very least each potential guest. You will want to remove the labels and thoroughly clean the jars inside and out. Scan a photograph of the mom and dad to be and print out photos of them to attach to each of the baby food jars.

Attach a baby theme fabric square to the top of the jar with a hot glue gun. While waiting for that to set, fill each of the jars with M&Ms or Jelly Belly's. Put the lids on and tie a piece of ribbon around the lid. There you have a nifty little party favor that holds a yummy little treat. Of course you could use bath beads, bath salts, potpourri, or hugs and kisses rather than the candy I mentioned above. Use your imagination, the important part is that no one leaves empty handed.

If you need more ideas of how to, here's another party favor project to get to you started. This is an easy project that is yummy and a lot of fun. Go to your local craft store and buy several molds in a baby theme, some melting chocolates (you can even get pastel colored chocolates in many stores), and cellophane for wrappers. Melt the chocolate according to the package instructions and pour into the molds. After the chocolate has set turn it out onto the cellophane and wrap. You can use ribbon to attach some theme appropriate magnets, mini photo frames, or cookie cutters to your chocolate party favors.

Here's how to craft baby shower favors that hold bath salt. You do not have to use one specific type of bottle or another, I chose baby bottles because it is a baby shower and you can find them for around a dollar at most Dollar Tree or Deal's stores. You need to have a good supply of bath salts in a nice scent and colors that will compliment the dour of the baby shower. Fill the bottles with salt, tie a nice ribbon around the neck of the bottle and attach a nice little note card with the date and the event.

Who knew it would be so easy to figure out how to craft baby shower favors that are sure to be a big hit with all the guests? The great things about these projects are that you can always make one for yourself and the guest of honor should get one as well. It is after all, one of her big days and she will definitely want one of these favors to help her remember it.

I'm also all about the do it yourself projects and simply assume that others enjoy it as well, which leaves me with my last suggestion. Have a project and materials available that your guests can make to bring home with them. You can paint or attach 'jewels' or even bottle caps to picture frames or let them make mini scrapbooks to help remember the occasion. Use your imagination and have fun; I hope I've at least given you some ideas you can build on. Have you seen the candle baby shower favors.
